    Britta Steffen, how she did jump start vs other swimmers doing a track start, half a body length behind and came back in the last 10 meters. That must have hurt.

      Especially for Dara Torres who was literally 41 and would have been the oldest swimmer to ever win gold by SIX YEARS if she hadn’t lost it then

    12:02 WOW! Each swimmer from 1st through 5th were 0.02 apart between each other!

      Actually 0.08 between 1-5, and 0.12 between 1 thru 6. But definitely close. The previous gold medalist was 6th but only .12 from 1st.

    Ranomi’s touch could’ve easily been 23 high , she had the worst touch for a 50 10:20 but lucky win

      The streamline kinda hadn’t been invented until later on in the sport. Athletes in the 80s also usually didn’t wear googles and decent tech suits were hard to find. The sport has evolved a lot since then to be more efficient.

      Both Alan Budikusuma and Susi Susanti are Chinese. Their ancestors are from Shanghai ( susi) and Hong Kong ( Alan). Rudy Hartono is from Shenzhen .yet they represented Indonesia in badminton why ??? Cause they were borned and breed there

      What are your sources claiming the 1988/1992 champions doped? I looked it up there are no official record that backs up your claim and their times still hold valid on FINA database.

      @@crybabyteamo the claim was based on that both Otto and Yang were from socialism/communism countries, typical stereotype that if an athlete wins and if s/he isn’t from a US allies or EU members, s/he must have been doping to win
